Sent on a classified, high-stakes mission by the Prime Minister of Australia, Lennie is tasked with restoring order to the warship Mulga. Captain Doherty, along with his henchman, the ...Chief Coxswain, have gone completely rogue - operating under the dangerous delusion that the Captain's authority eclipses the Australian Government itself.

While the full, chaotic story unfolds in the novel "TUFF SHIP" by Jack Fringe, this music video brings Lennie’s fierce character right to the forefront. Witness her battle against unseen odds on the high seas - all in the name of justice.

"TUFF SHIP" by Jack Fringe is available worldwide in paperback and digital formats. To get local printing and fast, affordable shipping, simply open your country's local Amazon marketplace (such as Amazon.com.au, Amazon.com, or Amazon.co.uk) and search for: Jack Fringe Tuff ShipShow More

From annoying school kids to iron decks and sailors' jests. "Schools" is the musical tale of a training officer out of his comfort zone, running blind errands for the captain, ...and hunting for a navy coup that doesn't exist. Left in total shame by the ranks above, the ship's biggest fool might just get the last laugh. Based on the character 'Schools' from the novel 'Tuff Ship' by author Jack Fringe.

The track actually started out as a French-style ballad, but it completely lacked the punch the story needed—so I dragged the lyrics into a bit of heavy metal inspired by a few German bands. To match that energy, the video was styled on films with a lot of grunge and grunt, pulling from a raw, Russian Industrial aesthetic.

The song and music video are a mix of metal, madness and mayhem. Exactly the same as life onboard the Mulga.Show More

'Captain of the Mulga is a noir‑tinted sea shanty about Captain Doherty, a very wealthy tyrant of a man from down under, based on one of the darker characters in ...Jack Fringe’s book Tuff Ship. As Doherty circumnavigates Australia on Mulga, he finally faces a crew he’s never met before – and the chain of command begins to break. This song does his character justice, capturing the storm, the ego, and the reckoning.

The young sailor nicknamed “Two Pack” is the comic relief on a ship skippered by an ego-inflated, half-mad Captain and a grotesque bully of a Chief Coxswain.

Branded “Two Pack” for ...his cigarette addiction, he is one of the few sane souls aboard. His loyalty, fear and fury spill out in a darkly comic sea shanty that proves even the lowliest sailor has a voice – and a few choice words for the Navy, the officers and the universe itself.

A Sailor Named Two Pack is a song by Jack Fringe, inspired by the riotous satirical novel Tuff Ship, where chaos, colourful language and absurd authority rule the decks of HMAS Mulga.
